Alien Workshop was founded in by Chris Carter and Mike Hill in 1990. Alien Workshop also has some very cool boards. Most of them have an alien theme. They also have an awesome skate team that consists of Rob Dydrek, Jason Dill, Anthony Van engelen, Mike Taylor, Arto saari, Dylan Rieder, Josh Kalis, Omar Salazar, Steve Berra, and Heath Kirchart.

Rob Dyrdek

Rob Dyrdek was born in Kettering Ohio on June 28, 1974. Rob truned pro when he 16. He is also sponsored by DC shoes. He aslo has a reality TV show on MTV called “Rob and Big”, and he is working on a second one called “Fantasy Factory” which will also be on MTV.

Anthony Van Engelen

Anthony Van Engelen was born on November 20, 1978 in San Diego, California. He turned pro when he was 21. His other sponsors are Vans, Independent trucks, and Spitfire wheels.

Arto Saari

Arto Saari was born on November 9, 1981 in Finland. He was voted “best skater of the year” by Thrasher magazine in 2001. He was also a playable character in Tony Hawk’s underground and Tony Hawk’s proving ground.

Jason Dill

Jason Dill has been skating for a long time. He has skated for many sponsors, like 101 and Blockhead. He is also currently sponsored by Alien Workshop and Etnies shoes. He has had tons of awesome video parts. Jason used to be in a show on MTV called “The Osbournes”. But he eventually got kicked off. He now also has his on clothing line.

Dylan Rieder

Dylan Rieder was born on May 26, !988. He is sponsored by Alien Workshop, Spitfire wheels, Thunder trucks, Mob griptape, Bone Swiss bearings, and Analog clothing.

Josh Kalis

Josh Kalis was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 27, 1976. Josh is also sponsored by DC shoes.

Mikey Taylor

Mikey taylor was born on August 29, 1982. He is also sponsored by Etnies.

Heath Kirchart

Omar Salazar

Girl skateboards has some of the best and coolest skateboards and pro skaters. Their skate team includes Guy Mariano, Eric Koston, Mike Carroll, Sean Malto, Rick Howard, Brian Anderson, Rick McCrank, Brandon Biebel, Mike Mo Capaldi, Jeron Wilson, and Alex Olson.

Eric Koston

Eric Koston was born on April 29, 1975 in Bangkok, Thailand. He started skateboarding when he was 11 years old. He has been on girl for 16 years. He turned pro in 1993. He is co-owner of “The Berrics” with fellow pro skater Steve Berra. Eric has recently left his Lakai shoes sponsor to be sponsored by Nike SB.

Guy Mariano

Guy Mariano was born in 1976, in Burbank, California. He has been skateboarding since he was 7 years old. He has been on Girl since 1993. His other sponsors include Lakai shoes, Spitfire wheels, Royal trucks, Fourstar clothing, and Powell bearings and bushings.

Mike Carroll

Mike Carroll was born in 1975, in San Francisco, California. Mike is co-owner of Lakai with Rick Howard. He is sponsored by Royal trucks, Lakai shoes, and Four Star clothing.

Sean Malto

Sean Malto Turned pro on June 2, 2008. He is sponsored by Etnies, Girl skateboards, Bones swiss bearings, Spitfire wheels, and Thunder trucks.

Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson was born on 1976 in Connecticut. He started skateboarding when he was 10. He has been on Girl since 2002. His sponsors are Skate Mental, Nike, Indy, Fourstar, Spitfire, and CCS

Rick McCrank

Rick McCrank was born on January 23, 1976 in Canada. He was voted best street skater of 2000. He went pro in 1990 for Plan B skateboards before switching to Girl.

Mike Mo Capaldi

Mike Mo Capaldi was born in 1990 in Thousand Oaks, California. Mike started skateboarding when he was 9 years old. He has been on Girl since 2006. His sponsors include Girl, Lakai shoes, Swiss bearings, Mob grip tape, Royal trucks, and Matix.

Rick Howard

Rick Howard was born in Canada. He is a co-owner of Lakia shoes with Mike Carroll. He is also a co-owner of Girl skateboards. Before creating Girl skateboards he used to ride for Plan B skateboards. He is sponsored by Four Star clothing, Girl skateboards, Independent turcks, and CCS board shop.

Alex Olson

Alex Olson was born in 1986, in Santa Monica, California. Alex started skateboarding when he was 11 years old. He has been on Girl since 2006. Besides Girl his sponsors include Lakai, Quicksliver, Indy and Spitfire.

Brandon Biebel

Brandon Biebel was born in 1981, in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Brian started skateboarding when he was 12 years old. He has been on Girl since 2001. His sponsors are Girl, Silver trucks, Matix, and Lakai shoes.

Jeron Wilson

Jeron Wilson was born in 1977, in Northbridge, California. Jeron has been skateboarding since he was 10 years old. His sponsors include Girl, Grind King, Matix, and DVS.

Element Skateboards

Element Skateboards


Johnny Schillereff was a pro skater how skated for a team called Underworld Element Skateboards. After years of following a wayward path he decided to turn his life around! He wanted to do something positive with his life. Around that time Underworld Element Skateboards had tons off problems and nobody could get along. Eventually most of the riders left. Johnny then had a choice. He could try to fix Underworld or start something totally new. He chose a little bit of both. He took ownership of Underworld Element. He called it Element Skateboards! He also made several other big changes! Element Skateboards is one of the best skateboard companies in the skateboarding world!

Bam Margera

Bam was born in Westchester, Pennsylvania on September 28, 1979. He has been skating since he was 9. He turned pro when he was 19. His real name is Brandon! His grandpa gave him his nickname of Bam because of Bam’s bad habit of running in to walls! Bam also had his own reality TV show called Viva la Bam. It ran from 2003-2005.

Nyjah Huston

Nyjah Huston was born on November 30, 1994! He has been skating since was 4. He
went to the X-Games when he was 11, making him the youngest competitor in the history of the X-Games! He was also featured in Tony Hawks Project 8 and Tony Hawks Proving Ground. This makes him the youngest person to be featured in the Tony Hawk games.

Mike Vallely

Mike Vallely (also know as Mike V.) was born on June 29, 1970 in Edison New Jersey. He is in a hardcore rock band called Revolution Mother and a punk rock band called Mike V. and the rats. He turned pro in 1987.

Bucky Lasek

Bucky Lasek was born on December 3, 1972 in Dundalk Maryland. He has been skateing since he was 12. He turned pro when he was 18! He is one of the best vert riders. as of 2006 he had 10 medals (6 golds) at the X-Games. He also played a very short role in the movie “Haggard” with Bam Maregera.

Chad Muska

Chad Muska was born on May 2, 1977. He has been skating since he was 11. He likes to rap. His first album was called Muskabeatz!

Levi Brown


Levi was born in Phoenix, Arizona. His sponsors include Elemenet and Bones swiss bearings. Levi is the newest member of the team.

Chad Tim Tim


Chadd Tim Tim is a really cool, down to Earth guy. He is from the Philippines. In an interview with Transworld skateboarding magazine he said that his three favorite things were God, his wife, and skateboarding ( in that order)! His dad was a pro ping-pong player.

Tony Tave


Tony Tave was born on March 23, 1987 in Lakeforest, California. Besides Element his other sponsors include Venture trucks, Spitfire wheels, Circa, Nixon, Active, and FKD bearings.

Plan B Skateboards

Plan B Skateboards

In 1991 some of the best pros at the time wanted to start something new that nobody has seen ever before in the skateboarding industry! They called it Plan B Skateboards! Mike Tenasky was the creator and master mind behind Plan B skateboards. He got some of the best pros at the time including Danny Way, Matt Hensley, Mike Carroll, Sean Scheffey, and Rick Howard.

Plan B Skateboards took over the skating world by storm with their awesome videos, amazing boards, and other products! They also added Pat Duffy, Colin Mckay, Sal Barbier, Ronnie Bertino, and Jeremy Wray through out the early 90′s.

In 1994 tragedy struck Plan B skateboards, when Mike Tenasky was killed in a tragic car accident. Plan B Skateboards was then left in the hands of Danny Way and Colin Mckay. A few years later Plan B Skateboards died out. Until a few years ago!

In 2005 with help from Syndrome Distribution Plan B was reborn! The new Plan B team included Danny Way, Colin Mckay, Paul Rodriguez, Ryan Gallant, PJ Ladd, Brian Wenning, Jereme Rogers, and in January 2007 Ryan Sheckler. Plan B Skateboards is once again one of the best teams in the skateboard industry.

Ryan Sheckler

Ryan Sheckler was born in Orange county California. He started skating when he was about 4 years old. He became pro when he was only 12 years old.

Paul Rodriguez

Paul Rodriguez jr.(P-Rod) was born on December 31, 1984. He became pro when he was 18. His dad is also named Paul Rodriguez (hence the “jr.”), but he was a famous comedian.

Danny Way

Danny Way was born on April 15, 1974. He became pro when he was 15. He was the first (and only) skater to jump the Great Wall of China. He is one of the co-owners of Plan B Skateboards. Between 1999 and 2002 Danny Way had 7surgeries, he had 5 on his knees and 2 on his shoulders. In 1991 and in 2004 he was named “Skater of the year” by Thrasher Magazines! In 2006 he “dropped in” off the 82 ft tall guitar at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas into a half pipe

Torey Pudwill

Torey Pudwill is the newest member of the Plan B team. He lives in the Valley of California. He is sponsored by Plan B, DVS, Matrix, Venture trucks, Bones bearings, Skatelab, CCS, and Grizzly griptape.

PJ Ladd

PJ Ladd was born on January 11, 1983 in. His real name is Patrick John Ladd. Before he turned pro he skated for Element’s amateur team. When he turned pro he started skating for flip, before finally switching to Plan B.

Brian Wenning

Brian Wenning was born on February 2, 1981 in Monmouth Beach New Jersey. He started skating around 1990.

Colin McKay

Colin McKay was born on August 29, 1975 in Vancouver (Canada). He became pro when he was 17. He is a co-owner of Plan B. Collin McKay is mostly known for his amazing vert skills.

Pat Duffy

Pat Duffy was born on January 17, 1975 in Marin California. He is well known for his part in the Plan B video “Questionable” which came out in 1992.

Birdhouse Skateboards


Birdhouse skateboards was founded by the legendary Tony Hawk and is one of the biggest skating companies in the world. Birdhouse skateboards has some awesome pro skateboarders like Tony Hawk, Shawn White, Steve Nesser, Matt Ball, Willy Santos, Jeremy Klein, and Riley Hawk! They also have cool skateboards and videos. Birdhouse Skateboards is definitely one of the premier skateboarding companies and you can’t go wrong with the guy that revolutionized the skateboarding industry, Tony Hawk!

Tony Hawk (A.K.A. The Bird Man) was born in San Diego, California on May 12, 1968. Tony describes him self growing as a nightmare. His older brother Steve gave Tony his first skateboard when he was 9. Steve thought maybe it would help Tony settle down a bit and give him something to work at. As Tony became better at skateboarding he began to calm down.

By the age of 12 Tony was sponsored by Dogtown skateboards. He turned pro when he was only 14 and by 16 he was one of the best skaters in the world! Over the next 20 years, Tony Hawk has become a household name. Everything from stakeboards to video games to clothing to amusement park rides bear the name Tony Hawk. If you are reading this, there is a very good chance that Tony Hawk had something to do with it. He has also proven himself to be a very good businessman in addtion to the phenomenal athlete he started out as. He is a man truely worthy of rolemodeling!

Shaun White

Shaun White was born in Carlsbad, California on September 3, 1986! He is mostly known for his awesome snowboarding skills. But he has proved that he has what it takes to be a pro skateboarder. Shaun White’s nickname is “Flying Tomato” because of his red hair.

Steve Nesser

Steve Nesser was born in Minnesota. He is also still living in Minnesota. He has been skateboarding for 14 years! He is also sponsored by Adio.

Matt Ball was born in Pensacole, Florida. He has been skateboarding for 12 years. He is living in Ontario, California. He is also sponsored by Pig Wheels.

Willy Santos

Willy Santos was born in the Philippines. He now lives in Poway, California. He has been skateboarding for 19 years!

Riley Hawk was born in San Diego California in 1992. He is Tony Hawk’s son (obviously)! Riley isn’t pro yet, but he is getting there! He is sponsored by Volcom , Monster, Adio, and Nixon.
