i am doing a science project for 8th grade, and my investigative question is:
what kind of skateboard wheels roll the fastest?
i was considering judging by diamater…
but how should i measure the speed? and also, what about materials? i was considering going to the local skate park… i don’t know, but what kind of wheels (diamater, softness, brand) ROLL the fastest. that without bearings, and not on the trucks, just sitting there rolling.
Hard wheels go faster - less friction
Big wheels go faster - cover more ground in 1 revolution. (basic rotational motion)
I use 63mm 101a wheels for skating pools. (Spitfire)
