I am trying to put put the wheels on my son's new skateboard board but the bearings keep coming out. I am not sure if I am doing it right.

The polyurethane is worn at the point of contact for the bearing. You can still skate on this for a while but eventually the slop from the wheel and the bearing will cause the bearing to break and seize. Buy new wheels from a proper skate shop or even take the wheel in and they might be able to put a bigger bearing in the wheel that is snug. As for the trucks there should be alignment holes to put on the board, if there isn't then check on line to find precise measurements for drilling holes on the board. Skate shops are affordable and can help a lot though.

probably a little late but take it to a skateshop and watch them do it. it takes a little bit of pressure to get the bearings in there. you need to make sure they are on right.
