How do you tie DC skateboarding shoes?

I understand you tuck the laces underneath the inside of the shoe. How should I go about this?

tie a knot on the inside with the two laces to keep it from getting too loose and tuck the laces in the shoe either below, over or on the side of your foot.

    tie a knot on one end then proceed to lace them up and under the tongue then tie the end of the lace and cut the rest off
