I’m a complete beginner. I’ve never been on a skateboard except for sitting on it and rolling down the driveway!
I admit, I’m not too great at roller skating- does that mean I might be bad at skateboarding too?
Also, how much does a skateboard and the necessary equipment cost? (I’m a teenage girl if that helps any.)

ur just like i used to be, never used a skateboard, but that didnt stop me. ive been skating for a mounth and i can alredy ollie, manual, go down ramps, drop in, and even manual down ramps. skateboarding is one of the best things i ever learned how to do. me and my cuz keep a list of our favoarite sports, and skateboarding was on in less than a day. if u never try something ull never get good.

My skateborad cost $60.But i got a hot pink one. =] so google it and add up the prices.

If your going to start skating, I would go to Models, and buy one of their boards… Like World Industries.. They only cost like 20 bucks, and they are good for people just starting to skate.

if you want to become a good skateboarder and be able to do tricks. your going to have to spend at least 100 dollars to get a good board. but if your just buying a skateboard to hold around and walk with so you look cool then dont get one at all or just get a walmart board

Ok i am a girl who has been skateboarding for three years it is quite fun and it takes alot of practice and determanation a good skateboard costs at least 150 dollars i would reccomend a roxy board but make sure its not cheap and when you are looking spin the weels if the weels spin smoothly then it is a good board also check the trucks and if they are strong and not wobbily good luck!

Don’t be discourage because your a beginner..all those pros you see doing crazy stuff down stairs were all like that. just ride the board around and get the feel of it try a manual and if your scared to fall on the cement go on grass or carpet and try a shove it start out small. and for skateboard it cost around 60 bucks stay confident..
