does anyone know how I can press plywood or permanently bend it into a shape favorable for a longboard skateboard? especially without fancy equipment??? tips and such are good too. I was also looking for a racing style deck similar to the landyachtz spud for a little less money.

Use a hard surface as a template. By hard surface I mean something along the lines of hardened clay as sort of a mold in the shape you want the board. You could also find a piece of sheet metal and form it by hand (well, hammer) into the curvature of the board. After you find a way to make the shape that you want, emerge the plywood in extremely hot water, or steam the hell out of it. Starting at one end and working to the other, while the wood is still flimsy, clamp the wood the the "mold", making sure to use as many clamps as possible. Leave it over night or up to a few days to dry into the shape you have it clamped. Also, to avoid putting dents in the wood when you clamp it, use smaller pieces of wood between the plywood and the clamp, something thin enough to not distort the curve, but thick and large enough to keep the clamps from putting too much pressure on a small area. Hope this helps at all.
