What is the difference between skateboard wheels between the brands? How do I know what size skateboard trucks to get for my skateboard?

What should I do about my skateboard trucks?

I bought a complete skateboard online, and one of the trucks fell apart. The trucks are monster brand, and weigh 3 lbs when the whole skateboard weighs 4. (I checked) Should I get a refund and buy lighter trucks, or just get replacements?

P.S. The company that made the trucks doesn't make any lighter trucks, just the kind I got in different colors.

Replace them with grind king trucks.

    this is a good example of why skateboard parts should be bought in person. skateshops will always help you out. and offer real advice instead of crappy suggestions from random people on yahoo answers telling you to buy the only brand they've ridden (or not at all) because they like the pretty colors they offer. skateshops are tight.
