Does tightening your skateboard's trucks increase the height of your ollie?

I was wondering this today after I tightened my skateboard's trucks and my ollie's height seemed to increase. Is this common after tightening your trucks?

yes…the same goes for me its because when ur trucks are tighter they dont bent as much and you get a better pop
