I am looking for the name of the wood or it may not even be wood. I have seen it on several ramps is a smooth thin wood.
Just to go Home Depot, Ace or Lowes and get some plywood, the thicker the better. The ramp armor you're talking about is pretty expensive and is sometimes too slippery. You can buy plywood that's smooth enough to skate well on. Plywood will definitely work great. Just remember to put support beams under the top sheet to keep it from sagging and breaking.
