It will be a mini half-pipe about 1.2m high, 3.6m wide and about 5m long. I'm hoping that if I keep it small I won't need one.
Ideas anyone ?
Sometimes neighbours complain, so It would be a good idea to ask your local council, it would be a shame if you built it and had to remove it

A building permit would only be required if the skate ramp was a permenant structure.
As a general rule:
If you were to tip your block of land upside down, anything that would fall off is not is not classified as "building development", everything that would stay stuck on, is.
