Whats the difference between the skateboard terms Nollie and Switch ?

Nollie = when you Ollie on the nose of the board
Switch Ollie = an ollie, only opposite stance. e.g if you were regular you would switch to goofy and vice verse. hope that helps!

Are they heavy and do they break easily?

lol 3rd time i have answers your question i don't really like independents i think they are too heavy i would get tensors or destructos, destructos are tough and not that heavy, but tensors are light and sort of tough so it depends if your gonna be really agressive and lots of grinds and lots of force tricks i'd get the destructos cuz they are tough i know i have em and if your sort of like not hardcore not lots of tricks get the tensors

should i get risers or shock pads for this combination? I dont want to get any wheel bite.

you won't get wheel bite with that combo I skate the exact same combo and had 1/8 risers on but took them off and still never got wheel bite. I only used the risers to keep the deck from getting hairline cracks. 53mm with lows is right above the wheel bite curve, you can get wheel bite if your trucks are super loose, I don't like mine that loose so it's not a problem for me. Risers can make a complete differance in your skating also usally it's a bad change if you're not use to them, if you're jsut starting out it shouldn't matter to much if at all. I always go with the thinest ones possible usally 1/8.

I BUY ONLY BLANKS BUT WONDER WAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN BLANKS AND PROS ARE…

some pro boards are made of different materials and have actual graphics but there also is no difference between walmarts and real boards. walmarts are 7 ply while pros are 6 ply but they have the same width and concave. blanks and pros are the same except cheaper and no graphic

my son is 11 and he likes to go skateboarding everyday. im looking for some shoes but i have no idea.

there are many different good ones..try this website…( sizes 7 & up)…

http://shop.pacsun.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&categoryId=14566&parentCategoryId=10004&sortBy=0&pageNumber=1

even if you dont have a pac sun (pacific sunwear) around you can get the idea of some of the brands and then see if any nearby places have them…it all depends on what he likes and whats best for him when skateboarder..although that shouldn't really matter..lol

I have 100$ and I really want a skateboard but I don't know what boards are good. What is the most durable and best overall board in your opinion?

Well, I wouldn't buy either of the two the guy said above because for one thing Wold Industries Boards chip up like hell and blinds are just as crappy. If you actually want a good complete, and since your probably a beginner, I would go with Black Label, Element, Habitat, or Almost. Almost is more of a recommendation if your going to practicing tricks every day, because for one thing, they do not wear out to very quickly. Only problem I have with mine is razor tail (that's when the tail/nose gets sharp and loses pop) But they are a little bit on the heavy side but not as heavy as Zero. I'd give their complete boards an 9/10 (I like Zero too)
Element has descent pop, light board, and a little bit of chipping, but not enough to screw you over. The boards don't split as easy as they would look. What I liked about my Element was is that it had a sheet of carbon in it, just like all of them do. This makes the deck lighter. 8/10.
Habitat makes a really good board, but they chip. There a lot similar to Element's boards, just the fact that they split when you land REALLY hard, like huge 8 set or something. 7/10
Black Label was the first brand of board I got. It actually was'nt mine. It was a hand-me-down board from a friend, and after about 6 years, it still some of the best pop on a board that I have ever had, even though the majority of the tail was shattered off. The only problem w/ black label is that they are a little heavy but the pop is amazing, and very durable too. 9/10
So, it all depends. Just take a choice from these brands and you should do fine. Ask any of the employees at your local skate shop. If you give them your shoe size, height, and weight, they can pick out the very best board for you. Mine was an Almost haslam v3. Although they ran out, they still found a great board for me.
For trucks, the brands you might want to think about are: Independant, Thunder, or Tensor. Independant's last FOREVER. They are a bit heavy, but they'll save you money.
Thunder's are great, nice and light, and the kingpins wear out a bit after a while but are great trucks.
Tensor's kingpins break when your grinding alot, but they are lighter than thunders.
I'd Suggest Indepandant as your first set, then you may wanna ste it up a little.
Bearings- Bones Reds if you wanna go with good stuff cheap, or, if you want to spend the cash, get Bones Swiss. Best bearings EVER
Wheels- Bones, Pig, or Spitfire. These are all great wheels and don't get coned fast unlike Hubba's
Now it's all up to you. Choose w/e you like or feel is best for you, I just would not consider buying World or Blind completes because they are actually little kiddy boards lol. If I were you, I'd save up that cash and build your own board. That's what I did with my Element. I did not want to buy a complete, I wanted my own thing. It came out to about 150$, but it was worth it.
Happy Skating!

The directors of Bona Boards Ltd, a major distributor of skateboards and skateboarding equipment and accessories, have the opportunity to sell a new range of boards imported from Japan. Before they can make a decision about whether or not to launch the new boards on the UK market they want to pilot sales in a test market area.

a) Describe what is meant by a 'test market' and explain how it could offer some protection for the business at Bona Boards Ltd.[4 marks]

the marketing research team at Bona Boards Ltd has to complete the background section for the test marketing plan.
b) (i) Explain how secondary research could be used in this project. [3 marks]
(ii) State TWO relevant sources of secondary data that they could use, justifying the use of each source. [4 marks]

my head totally blank!!o.O protection?! what protection? background section?

thank yoou!! ^^

I can give you very narrow idea. please expand it to your own word.

Test market: business sometimes check the demand of its own product (responsiveness) before it lunch its new product in new market– by various ways (ie free sample, ) the whole process is called test market.
you should consider cultural issue in 2 different country. try Edward T Hall's cultural model (high contex/low context) to explain.
