how do i stop skateboard trucks from squeaking? Where can i download videos/clips of people skateboarding for free?

I haven't got my skateboard yet but it should be arriving tomorrow hopefully. Anyway I just want to know what the easiest trick to learn is, is it pop shove-it maybe? First i'm gonna learn how to ollie obviously.

So you want to start skateboarding!
First, you need to get comfortable with your skateboard.
If you bought a completely built skateboard, there's a chance that there may be some things about it that you might find uncomfortable. Set the board either in some grass, or on the carpet in your living room, and try standing on it, jumping on it, whatever you want. Try balancing only on the front or back wheels. Standing on the board, move your feet into different positions. Get used to the feel and size of your board, and get used to standing on it.

Before you do anything crazy, you should learn to ollie of course. But I suggest you learn how to manual first. It's pretty easy, once you've mastered it, you will find learning ollie is a little easier.

After you've mastered the ollie, you can learn the most basic flip trick, the kickflip. Or maybe you can learn the pop shove-it first. Both tricks must be known by every skater. You have to learn how to grind too, try boardslide or 50-50 first instead of nosegrind of other grind tricks.

Learn more from Youtube videos or other skateboarding websites. You may play Tony Hawk's video game too, it's fun!

Good luck dude!

I would recomend you learn the kickflip or the shove-it then i would move to learning the pop shove-it, because it requires a lot of hard work to master it.

first, before you learn any tricks, you should be able to rida a skateboard in your sleep. tricks are stupid if you dont make them look good, and you do this by riding in and out of them cleanly. first get your ollies down solid, then work on shove-its. once you get them, try them moving. from there move to kickflips and/or heelflips.
