hi i was wonderin how i should clean my skateboards grip tape…i just got it and my shoes were kinda dirty and now my grip tape looks ugh…so i was wonderin if theres a way to clean it without messin it up? also is it true liquids ruin ur grip tape?
Don’t put liquid on it.
Go to your local skate shop to see if they ahve grip gum. If they don’t, order online. It works great. I always spray paint graffiti on my griptape, so I reguraly use grip gum to keep it good looking.

Whenever that would happen to me, I’d just take a scrub brush and some water after it and it never ruined my grip tape.

i am afraid it is true that the liquids ruin your grip =( but her are some ways i would suggest : 1. you could either dabb it with a cloth or wire wool 2. dabb it with a damp ( not to damp ) sponge 3. or simply scrap it off with a stick or somthing .

dont ever put water on it.
go and buy a thing that cleans it, or take a really damp cloth and just lightly brush where its really dirty…yeah, don’t ever wash your board

Don’t put water on it!!! It will soak into your board and make it rot from the inside. I would take another piece of griptape (sandpaper) and rub it. If this dosen’t work just get another roll of griptape and apply to the board.

Well, you can skate it out or get some sort of brush and scrub with water (DON'T USE TO MUCH!) or get a grip gum. Keep in mind the grip tape is only about $6!
