I can't find backpacks with skateboard straps in any stores. Besides, judging by pictures, the straps just look like bands of fabric that keep the skateboard in place. Are they more than that, or can I just lash the board on using cords, or even sew my own strap on?
Thanks for the answers, everyone, but what I really want to know is how I can attach one to a /normal/ backpack. Living in Canada, I can't find any of the stores you've mentioned, and the local skate shops are hella expensive.

can you slip the wheels through one of the back pack cloth handles? If not try a piece of rope or wire

yeah check out zumiez i got my element backpack there and it has skateboard straps on it hope i help
