are they flat and thick and very smooth and very fast. are they also good for skateboarding vert and bowls and kickturns and ramps and halfpipes and mini pipes and quarter pipes. have you ever had Terry Kennedy Baker wheels. how were they. anything positive or negative about them. rate it from 1 to 10 and 1 is the worst and 10 is the best. give me a reason for your rate

they are fast but the wheels wear don't sort of fast i would use them again they were good for me 7.5/10

I know that supposedly if you freeze your skateboarding wheels, they last longer, and I tried that, and it worked; but I want to know if your supposed to freeze the bearings too?

I would say no. I don't really skateboard… i have one but can barely run it. but i do know a lot about metals.freezing bearings would make the metal hard and thus brittle, and that may cause them to crack and chip and eventually become ruined. so i would just keep them well greased and they should last for a fair bit of time.

I plan on buying the Independent Low Koston trucks and Ricta Blue Supercrystals. I would like to know if they fit together the trucks and wheels will fit together. The trucks are size 129 and the wheels are 53mm.
My deck it going to be 7.5×31.4
I have powell bones red bearings

ha, wheels should fit on any trucks. ur just sliding it in and then screwing it. worry about the trucks, some dont fit on boards.

Which sizes are more practical for street skating, if there is a major difference.?

It's pretty simple. The majority of skateboard wheels run from 53-60 mm. They come as small as 50mm and as large as 115 mm and greater. Smaller wheels are slower than larger wheels, but will accelerate faster than bigger wheels. Small wheels are generally used for street skating, and big wheels (60mm+) are used for bowls, vert, longboards, cruisers and specialty boards.
Larger wheels will give a smoother ride and can overcome obstacles better, while small wheels give the board a lower profile and make flip tricks easier.
If you want to do variopus types of skating, then go with a mid sized wheel, around 56-58mm.
Wheels are really a matter of personal preference, so experiment.

im broke now. And im planning on buying a new skateboard and wheels and stuff like that. Because the ones i have right now are all broken and stuff. But i was wondering, where do they sell cheap trucks. Because at the skate shops they are like $24-$30 or more per 1 truck, And right now i cant afford that. Plus my parents dont want to give me more money =(

ive searched every single website that i know.
ive even searched for 47mm wheels.
i heard thats the smallest they go.
but ive only been able to find 48mm.
what website can i find the supersmall but wide wheels at.

the only place u can find super small wheels is ebay. because back in the day, like the 70's. wheels were only just bigger that the bearing. they don't sell them anymore in a franchise because they for some reason declared it a safety hazard. which is odd because small wheels make u go slower 0_o

Hm. Whats a good brand of skateboarding wheels? And what websites sell them?

I have skateboarded for years and have noticed that brands of wheels really do no matter as long as they are pro. If you are street skating try getting size 50mm-53mm. Park try 54-56. And bowl-riding only try 60mm. Also a harder wheel makes it easier to slide and they wear down slower, and a softer wheel will wear down quicker and you will have more difficulty powerslide, but will roll better on rough surfaces. Hope this helps.
