I need a suggestion for some good skateboard wheels. I have an element skateboard with core trucks, not sure what kind of bearings. Its pretty new and i skate on a lot of asphalt and concrete and was wondering if anyone knew some good skateboard wheels that will make the ride a little faster and smoother and where i can buy them.
Some people are recommending trick wheels or cruising wheels, but i do a little of trick skating and cruising. Could anyone recommend some wheels the would be good for both?

If you want wheels to do tricks on get Hubbas. If you want wheels to cruise around on get Kryptonics. If you didnt know "trick" wheels are wheels that are smaller and harder which makes performing technical tricks easier. However, these wheels are not very smooth. If you are just going to be riding around you should get "cruiser" wheels which are usually large, soft, and sometimes jelly. These wheels provide a smooth fast ride on all surfaces. Good Luck and Keep Skating!

I heard that independent makes good trucks, and bone swiss makes good bearings.

Indy trucks are all I use anymore, they never break or ware out they seem to be the best. I also like destructo and silver trucks. Bones swiss as you heard are very good bearings I never build a board without them. wheels don't matter except for size, urathane is urathane most of all wheels are made out of it and made the same way. I always just get blanks.

My skateboard has an annoying problem. One of my wheels is always above the ground! The board spent some time half under water so the board might just be warped, but it looks alright. Should I tighten the trucks or the wheels?

Thanks :o
loosen the trucks or get new bushings if those some how got warn down some how

I know skateboard wheels come in different sizes but is there really a difference between the cheaper brands and the more expensive ones?

diferrent plastics and uses, back in my day I used simms street wheels, they didnt catch on pebbles when riding curbs and sidewalks where as alot of ramp wheels did, probably the same today different wheels for different uses, the more expensive ones usualy had better bearings, like swiss.

Hi, Ive been skating for maybe a year and im trying to find the best trucks and wheels. For trucks i want somthing that wont break but is good for ollieing stairs and also good for the skate park. WHATS THE BEST TRUCK?

For wheels I have absolutely no idea what the difference is. I want some that i can powerslide and stuff. I like wheels that are all white and are medium big. I see some skaters with them but everyone that has them are really good. WHAT ARE THE BEST WHEELS???

teh best trucks out here would be indendent trucks and also grind king fro me grind kings are better that independent because grind kings are a lighter than independent trucks. For wheels there really is no difference at least thats what i think but if you want to powerslide with them you should just get thin wheels and not wide ones. wide wheels are better for manualing. :)

the wheels don't really matter all that much for manuals. I am an all around park and street skater and i can manual for as long as you want both nose and regular, even switch and fakie sometimes.. anyway, I just use some 52mm's that are not too soft. The wheels revert real good on concrete transitions.
Hope that helps.
Just practace putting your wheels in a crack in the sidewalk and do manuals every day and you will get the muscles you need.
