I mean do you really need skateboarding shoes? I have kateed for about a year with out them but if i get them will it make tricks easer ? Will it improve anything?
it is important to have skateboarding shoes because it is flat and so is the board so you get more grip. but the type doesn't really matter as long as the grip tape doesn't wear out your shoes
and also are airwalks tied like the other sk8-boarding shoes?
DC, Vans, Etnies, DVS, Adio, Circa, Famous S/S, I path, Osiris, ES, Globe, Element, Gallaz, Converse…….
Airwalks can be tied anyway.
Shoes like Etnies,DC, Vans ect…
I own etnies, the laces are tucked
and whenever i wear them for a day my knees hurt.
Are they actually bad for your knees?
no i think its just certain shoes don't match certain feet… i personaly cannot wear vans because they hurt my toe like hell. DC's are like slippers they're so comfortable, plus they last long (if you actualy skate)
U can name good brands, the exact shoe… i dont really care but i need some durable cool shoes that are very good for fairly intense skateboarding
dc, fallen, emrica, nike sb, and vans are probably the best skate shoes out there
if i missed any then my bad
Any difference on you ankles?
BTW, I have super narrow feet!
Thanks David C.
lol… the guy above me.
Actually, it's very important to wear skateboarding shoes when you skate. It's not a fashion statement, they are very useful. They prevent injuries in all kinds of ways. They do the following:
A. Prevent or reduce ankle injuries (very common)
B. Have additional heel support and cushion to prevent injury
C. Heel cushion and support also act as grounds to absorb shock so your ankles and knees don't.
D. Have padded tongues to assist in missed flip tricks
E. Have additional traction to give you grip
F. Have nubuck, rubber, suede etc. to protect your toes!
There are very good reasons for wearing skateboard shoes.
Ok, well, I got these new Tony Hawk skateboarding shoes, and I really wanna know if they’re good…. can someone tell me?
dude ew, hawk shoes are horrid. get vans, they are usually less expensive and skate well
Based on price and quality, what is a good shoe and why?
Emerica KSL1's are very very good for many reason, Thier price is good becuase they've been out for a little while now and as for quality the side of the shoes which is most important on judeging on the quality of a shoes, the side is tripple stiched and double reinforced which will make sure that the side of the shoe will take long to tear.
This has been proven, Kevin 'Spanky' Long says the shoes are long lasting and have a awesome feel to it.
Im wearing a pair of these for skateing currently they are pefect
Can someone send me an easy instructions or an video?
I'm not sure this is the kind you mean, but here's something that sounds like it!

I've been skating for a few months, but I am constantly twisting and turning my weak ankles. I skate in high top converse now, which don't really work because of the weak canvas. So does anybody have any ideas or suggestions for shoes?
And no, I'm not gonna put my converse in a larger skate shoe
-.-
If you're skating in ankle supportive skate shoes, could you please provide a link so I can check them out?
Thanks :D!
