Also I don’t want to spend over $250. In case this helps, I’m a moderate skater. Could you also give me some tips or info on skating or skating equipment? And do you know any websites that sell skateboards and equipment? Thank You

When I did skate I rode Enjoi I love the panda and the girls think its cute :D but I also liked a bit of Zero and Element

i've tried to skateboard before and i liked it, and im trying to decide if i should start up again. im 14 yrs old and i dont know if thats too old to start. or for that matter were to start. like wat kinda skateboard to get, or equipment. ne suggestions would b helpful thanks.

That's how it was for me. I used to skate alot when I was 12, then we moved to the country were you can't really skate anywhere. I'm 15 now and we just moved back to the city and I picked up skating again, I love it. And I got a listen skateboard, those are good decks, they're small, light and tough, if for some reason you aren't comfortable with those, get a Plan B or a Baker or an Element, those are a bit bigger and pretty much the same quality, oh yeah and don't get one at wal mart or target those things=broken and cheap. I also recommend independent trucks. As for wheels go to a nearby skate shop or vans (in the mall) and ask them what kind of wheels and bearings would be good. They should give you some help with that. I think that's pretty much a good setup. Good luck with the skating, have fun!!

I'm interested in selling sporting goods possibly mountain bikes, skateboards, golf equipment, paintball equipment, etc. I'm thinking of doing both a brick and mortar and an internet site. Any advice would be highly appreciated!

why look for distributors when u can get it directly from the manufacturers ?? most of the stuffs u mentioned are manufactured in Asia so its better to go for the root directly than to the tree…….

I was planning to get a ZooYork board, but I don't know how to buy the trucks and everything else. I don't want the sellers to like try to make me buy hella expensive ones, cause I don't know what i'm talking about. So I just reallly need help on buying a skateboard, and everything. Is zooyork a good brand or what other brand is recommended?

My boyfriend had a skateboard with a checker back, and that's all I know about it,he won't tell me what kind he uses. So,I really need help on what kinda skateboard and what are good trucks and equipment needed for skateboard. HELP!

I want to buy him one he said its okay but I feel really bad,it was my fault he threw his board.

I used to work at a skate shop for 2 years. get the ZooYork, or what ever he likes. for trucks its a safe bet to go with Independent trucks, or Rukus. both brands are kinda cheap, if he skates street get him shorter trucks. Probably wants smaller wheals also if he skates street. get the shop wheals or what ever is cheap. as for barrings you should ask him. barrings are kinda personal for most skaters. if you don't want to ask him Bones Reds are a good bet.

I’m a complete beginner. What else do you need beside a deck ?
What kind of brands do you recommend for the equipment needed to start ?

Is this deck something decent ?

i have a ten-eighty quarter pipe. about 4 foot. element tour deck, independent trucks, swiss bones bearings, and senn wheels i forget the size….most likely they are like 10 sizes smaller from being worn out anyways. o ya the point of this is just to talk about skateboard stuff.
i always wanted to try out a longboard. i've never had the chance =(

I have a big box that can be raised and made into a bank plus with grind rails (I made it), a small box (found it), a kicker (made it), rail (stole it), Darkstar armorlight deck, blue Ricta supercrystal wheels, bones swiss bearings, and Venture superlight low trucks. Plus a Sector 9 bamboo long board.

I already have skateboarding, flying a kite and a picnic. Thank you

Reading a book under a tree, feeding ducks or geese (if you're painting a pond), squirrels in a tree, rollerblading, swimming & fishing (if you're painting a lake), bugs like bees, ladybugs or dragonflies.

It can be for baseball or football, or more intense like downhill biking or skateboarding, or even foods like vitamin water or food bars, ect. Anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

How about artificial biceps ? That way I can concentrate on my abs.

I found a board I like from Zoo York. What else to I need to assemble it? I am good for pads and a helmet. Also how should I proceed after I have my equipment?

You need trucks, bearings (without them, the wheels wouldn't be able to roll), griptape, wheels, and, last but not least, hardware (nuts, bolts, all that stuff that holds your board together). Helmet and pads are good to have, and maintaining it is just making sure it doesn't get too dirty or chipped.
