Skateboarding has become an extremely popular sport. ESPN has immortalized skaters and other extreme sports athletes with the X-Games and many people are getting into the sport because of this. The better a skater gets, the harder the tricks are that they will try. As you try harder moves, you will crash and burn. It is a fact. Hitting the concrete without pads can have you laid up inside nursing your wounds instead of skating so don’t cut your skateboarding time short just because you think it is cool not to wear safety equipment. Pads are one type of skateboarding equipment you don’t want to do without.

I want 2 order my first skateboard equipment from utilityboardsupply.com and i saw a rodney mullen magnesium slider truck in light blue and:
#1: I looked where it has the "S" on it that stands for slider and it didn,t say magnesium there or nothing
#2: when I looked on other good websites like skatewarehouse.com or another website they only have in red and black (and in skatewarehouse.com's case that and grey silver) and I 've been searching for many good skate websites to get my equipment from.
#3: on skatewarehouse.com the silver and grey magenesium slider trucks in said "magnesium" above the "S" that stands for slider.
PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE I WANT SOME LIGHT TRUCKS AND WHEELS SO IT WILL BE EASIER FOR ME TO SKATE SINCE IM BEGINNING
id never known for them to be made of anything but magnesium?………..
ive just asked for mag sliders and thats what i was sent…….

I’m a complete beginner. I’ve never been on a skateboard except for sitting on it and rolling down the driveway!
I admit, I’m not too great at roller skating- does that mean I might be bad at skateboarding too?
Also, how much does a skateboard and the necessary equipment cost? (I’m a teenage girl if that helps any.)

ur just like i used to be, never used a skateboard, but that didnt stop me. ive been skating for a mounth and i can alredy ollie, manual, go down ramps, drop in, and even manual down ramps. skateboarding is one of the best things i ever learned how to do. me and my cuz keep a list of our favoarite sports, and skateboarding was on in less than a day. if u never try something ull never get good.

You could use silk screen it has to be special order or you could heat transfer it but of you just getting blanks and not making your own deck you have to buy all the equipment which is pricey the silk screening is the cheaper route but you have to learn how to use it it not so hard your gonna have to go thru a lot of errors

I'm starting to get better and better little by little at vertical skating, but I'm sick of using up all my money on the skate park to use their ramps and halfpipes. So I was thinking of building my own ramp or mini-halfpipe. If anybody can please give me a description of equipment, tools, and how to put together the ramp or either a mini-halfpipe, please list here!!
PS: I know I could buy one, but I'm running a little short on money.
a nice mini ramp will run you around 500$ bucks but well worth it…You mainly need ply wood 3/4 thick alot of 2×4's and some masonite to have the smooth nice finish to the ramp and two metal polls for coping screws and nails to but it toghter..Kinda hard to tell you how to build it just look at other ramps or buy the plans to build a mini ramp from somewhere they are around 30 bucks for the plans and worth the money to have a nice ramp built since you havent built any…

Personally, I don’t like CCS. It takes 7 days for the stuff I order from there to get to me. My favorite online skateshops are www.skatewarehouse.com and www.plusskateshop.com.

He’s an only child…probably a bit spoiled, but he gets straight A’s, excels in sports, doesn’t lip off to me, and get’s his chores done. He has an xbox, psp, phone, digital camera, laptop, ipod, bike, skateboard, basketball and hoop, baseball equipment…what else is there???
Wow, seems like people are really rude on here. Sounds like they are jealous that you can afford to spoil your A student, non mouthy, chore doing teenager. If I only had one child who was as good as your boy, and I could afford to I’d start a car fund for him… he will need it in a few years.
