I usually shop at CCS or Ebay online and get the catalog but does anyone else know of some GOOD and CHEAP skateboarding sites that sell GOOD QUALITY decks, parts & clothing.

For clothes, you will probably have to stick with CCS. Not many other online skate shops sell girls clothes. For decks and parts, you should check out www.skatewarehouse.com and www.plusskateshop.com.

I am going to get a skateboard and I know there are a few different kinds of decks. Longboard, shortboard, pool board
I am going to mostly going to be pool surfing. I have tried a few different boards and I would like somthing kind of wide. So what kind of decks are there?

You need to decide if you want to go with an old school board, a wide new school board or a hybrid board. A hybrid board has the nose of an old school and the tail and concave of a new school.

Old school

I've got Lady Guadalupe and Mutant City

Hybrid

I've got the old version of Meekster and Knox

Wide new school

Bacon makes wider boards from 7.75 to 8.75

Other manufacturers of these types of boards are Creature, Krooked, Powell, Z-Flex, Alva, Sector 9, and SMA.

I'm semi-new to skateboarding and I'm looking for a durable, lightweight deck with lots of pop. I want one that will last a while, but that is good quality and beginner friendly, and one that will also be good for me once I get better. Right now, I'm looking at getting a chocolate, a plan B, or a girl deck. Which of these is the best?

it doesnt matter unless you want it to, just skate :)

i think plan B cause of the durability then Element cause of the technology with helium and featherlight then zoo york cause there cool looking

What are good skateboarding decks with good graphics and that hold up good?

Girl and Chocolate decks last for a good 3 months of hard skating easily. MiniLogo surprisinly are very strong and have nice pop and melow concave but aren’t that light. Plan B’s are the best deck i say overall but do last that long and they are also flat. Lots of concave doesn’t help with olllies… thats a lie… when you start you should get a 7.7 to an 8 inch deck that is fairly flat to help with ollies and shov-its and when you get better concave will have an impact.

How many layers of wood they used, the more ply, the stronger. it also depends on the type of wood used. thats why the more expensive boards are expensive…they use about 7-8 ply of maple, therefore it lasts for a long time.

what would you reccomend for something light and, not a guy who just started out but isnt really good yet. Durability should be ok but im more concerned with weight and pop cuz i cant take the toymachine anymore

the board may not be your problem and your truks might be too heavy for you ? I know thier is alot of companys out thier that make feather light boards like element blind world ect and just go into a local skateshop and ask for the feather light boards..
