I am buying a new skateboard soon and want to get some really good long lasting trucks. I am not too great at skateboarding but want trucks that keep pop and are good all around. I was looking into Tensor Mids but have heard some unsure reviews. I also don’t like really heavy trucks and want them not too get too loose.
Which are heavier? Independent or Destructo? Are they too heavy?
I would say go with independent or Grind King
what is the light, good for street skater, and good for vert skater skateboard trucks should i get.And i don't like independents trucks.
Okay short and simple: Independent and Grindkings.
By the way, totorule who cares if he is half ryt or half wrong no1 cares!
When I ride my skateboard the trucks constantly and easily loosen up. What option would solve my problem?
Nuts i think. If your trucks were bad, the bearings would grind?
well i have a good board but its a 7 year old wal mart board, its about 7.5 by 32 and i need to know the size of the trucks… im sort of a beginner of skateboarding becuase im 14 and just got out the old board a few months ago, the trucks and bearing are now old, worn out, and the bearings are broken beyond repair, and the trucks are bent so it goes to the right…
if ur buying new trucks then it tells u like if it's online then it's written the size next to it. if u buy it at a store then don't worry about it but u measure by the length of them and ur usually supposed to get ABOUT the same size as the deck by the way or the same size as long as ur not getting a 8.0 wide deck and 7.5 trucks then ur alright
ok guys im thinking about getting a new skateboard but im getting a 7.5 width deck ,but the trucks are 7.75 if you look at it on a tape measure its not really that big if guys can help me out i will be very thankful (:
Yes, your truck will be wider than your board. This shouldnt be a problem. Railstands or primo stands could be slightly difficult, however.
My skateboards trucks always squeak when I lean to turn. I know it isn't the BUSHINGS, but the PIVOT BUSHING. I just don't know how I would manage to get the pivot bushing to stop squeaking.
PS: I have just started skateboarding again, (after a 4 years break), and would like to have this stopped.
Hello!
I have an alternative solution for your question about your skateboard's trucks.
I am currently an intern at Jig-A-Loo and they have a lubricant (with like name) that would work really well at removing any squeaking on your skateboard. This product is really different than WD40 because it's silicone-based so it's non greasy, it does not stain or leave unpleasant odor. Furthermore, it doesn't attract any dirt so I believe it's the ideal tool for any moving part!
I hope it helps fix your problem!

im interested to know what you think are the worlds best trucks for a skateboard
independent trucks are the best man. they are light, durable, and they look good
I know that longboard trucks are alot wider then regular skateboard trucks but is the base of the truck, wear you screw it in, the same size for longboard and skateboard. Bassically, will the screw on the trucks align with the predrilled holes in the deck
sure, its perfectly fine. i actually have a regular board right now with wide trucks and big wheels on. it works awesomely well!!! [i use it for filming skateboard
]
if you were to do so, i'd recommend some risers though so you wouldnt get wheelbite
I am looking how to build skateboard trucks. Could you tell me or give me a website on how to build them?
i never heard of someone like molding the frame for the truck. but you can assemble it from buying pieces
