I want to know how to get a hold of sponsors and where/how to buy skate stuff wholesale. Every skater has to either buy online or drive about 90 miles to the next town and skating is really big here.

theres online distributors you can go through but most require you have your business license first. you can get one after a couple classes at a local college. get in touch with some local skaters who have sponsors and can help you get in the door with those companies.

GOOD LUCK MATE!

Ive looked in my local skateboard shops, and they dont have it. does anyone know where I can get it?

I've only seen it in yellow and black. It's not hard to make, just takes a little time and patience. Just get a sheet of black and a sheet of white. With a straight edge, draw the stripes diagonally on the back of the grip. Only mark 1/2 of the piece.Do this for both pieces. Cut along the lines either with scissors, or a razor blade and the straight edge. Apply the strips starting at the nose, and work your way to the tail. Cut and finish the grip the same as a single sheet.

Just wanting general info on practices and procedures involving starting and running a profitable skateboard shop. Recently the town I live in has installed a very expensive public skatepark. I would like to start a skateshop that not only earned profit but provided skateboards/products geared towards local kids. No skateshops exist in this town and I'm wanting to change that. Any info would be much appreciated!

no one has any serious info on this site!
