I am starting a company, and it involves selling skateboards. But, I would like to design some of my own skateboards. I already have some graphics made, i just need to know how to get them onto the bottom of a skateboard/ fingerboard. Please help.
Hey I sell skateboards too on a website called Popdeck. You create the graphics, give it a name and a price and you split the money half each with popdeck because they print it and ship it. the link is http://www.deckpeck.com/. Check it out. Also check out my store on it so you get an idea of what to do http://d3k3d.deckpeck.com/.
Hope I helped. P.S. any more help just contact me at frogmandood@gmail.com

omg i would love to skidive but with a bmx or skateboard you now how cool that will be xD but how long till you have to open ur chute i mean i wanna do tricks and stuuff xD
Hell yeah use the bmx bike you can do backflips 1080's and all that good stuff. Skateboards are boring to skydive with. I mean what can you do on a skateboard that you can do on a bike? Nothing. You cant tailwhips or nothing. The most you can do on a board is backflip….boooo…

Whats the difference between the skateboard terms Nollie and Switch ?
Nollie = when you Ollie on the nose of the board
Switch Ollie = an ollie, only opposite stance. e.g if you were regular you would switch to goofy and vice verse. hope that helps!

I've had a skateboard since i was 7yrs old and i'm thirteen now. I found it again and really wanted to skateboard, but i've been practising ollying for a while now (since june last year)on grass, not that much though, but i just can't seem to. Am i doing anything wrong? Do i need a good skatebaord, and how long did it take you to olly? Any other info would be great too.
Slam your back foot down on the tail of your skateboard as hard as you can. At that moment, you want to also jump into the air, off of your back foot. This part is key, and takes practice. The trick is in getting your timing right. You want to slap the skateboard’s tail down, and as it hits the ground, jump off of that foot into the air. Make sure to pull that back foot high into the air. It's a quick, snapping motion.
Don't practice on the grass anywhere harder would be better you can ever do it on carpet I do all the time. Your board shouldn't matter for doing ollies so you're probably okay there, might want something better in the near future not sure what you got, probably a toys r us board or something
it's all good. It took me about a week to learn it but I REALLY wanted to learn it back in like 1992. Just keep practicing and you'll get it. I posted a link to a pic of how your front foot needs to look as you drag it up on the board, hope this all helps, good luck.

I am giving it to him for his birthday, and its a surprise. He will be going to camp where he will be learning tricks etc. He has basic knowledge, but has never had a more serious board. I would rather buy a complete skateboard, just seems less complicated for me. Any suggestions?
Don't buy him a cheapo walmart or toys r us board even though toys r us does sell complete pro brands like birdhouse, blind, and world industries which would be a good board to learn on. Saying one pro brand skateboard deck is better than another is really bull. Most decks are made the same and they all work the same, element is an alright brand but i've skated on better, i've had over 10 different brands i've skated with and all pretty much are good some I wouldn't buy again but for a beginner they'd all work, don't worry about that for now, get him a complete like you were saying it is easier for you and him and when he gets good at it he can pick out and make a custom deck to his skating style. You don't want to send him to a skate camp with a cheapo wally world board, they're junk and will do more harm than anything. Don't forget camp will require pads and a helmet and he'll probably need some skate shoes too. I'll post a site with a bunch of pro brand completes you can search through and maybe find something he'll like, this site used good trucks and bearings also on their completes not some cheap nock off that won't hold up. Good luck, and for the record skateboarding is a great activity and for the most part will keep him out of trouble and maybe give him some guidance, besides it's loads of fun and makes you feel great when you learn a new trick to show off to your friends.

I want to sell my skateboard from 1976 on E-bay. How much can I get for it?
not much. if it is a pro model of someone who died, or something like that, then it might be worth something. but if it is just an old board, i doubt it'll be worth anything

I haven't got my skateboard yet but it should be arriving tomorrow hopefully. Anyway I just want to know what the easiest trick to learn is, is it pop shove-it maybe? First i'm gonna learn how to ollie obviously.
So you want to start skateboarding!
First, you need to get comfortable with your skateboard.
If you bought a completely built skateboard, there's a chance that there may be some things about it that you might find uncomfortable. Set the board either in some grass, or on the carpet in your living room, and try standing on it, jumping on it, whatever you want. Try balancing only on the front or back wheels. Standing on the board, move your feet into different positions. Get used to the feel and size of your board, and get used to standing on it.
Before you do anything crazy, you should learn to ollie of course. But I suggest you learn how to manual first. It's pretty easy, once you've mastered it, you will find learning ollie is a little easier.
After you've mastered the ollie, you can learn the most basic flip trick, the kickflip. Or maybe you can learn the pop shove-it first. Both tricks must be known by every skater. You have to learn how to grind too, try boardslide or 50-50 first instead of nosegrind of other grind tricks.
Learn more from Youtube videos or other skateboarding websites. You may play Tony Hawk's video game too, it's fun!
Good luck dude!

I was trying to buy a skateboard, but i dont know what company or anything. I need some opinions on what is the best board, and trucks and so on.
There isn't a "best skateboard" that you can buy. However, with that said, DON'T buy a skateboard from WalMart or Sports Academy, etc.
Go to a skateshop. Some boards will be skinnier/longer than others. See what feels comfortable for you.
Depending on what kind of skating your thinking about getting into - like ramp/street/both…you'll have to base your decision off that.
Generally, any truck will do fine. I've always used either Independent or Royals.
Your wheels decision should be based off whether you're going to ride ramp/street. Ramp wheels are bigger/fatter, street wheels are smaller.
If you want to do both ramp/street, there are sizes in between that you can choose from.
Just talk to one of the people in the shop and they should be cool with helping you set something up!
Have fun!
